How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am second generation to the transportation industry and quite naturally followed my parents' roots in the timber and petroleum transport industries. My continued focus has been on the ever expanding opportunities in the transportation arena.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Number 1) We've been around much longer than most with an extremely solid reputation for getting the job done right, so our customers trust us with moving their goods from point A to point B and beyond because they have confidence that we know what we're doing. Number 2) We understand business is about person-to-person relationships, and above all else we honor the relationships that have been built over the years and this commitment remains at the forefront in all we do. As our Mission Statement says, "Our goal is not to be the biggest. Our goal is to be best." Number 3) Because one of our sister companies is an asset based bulk liquid food grade tanker transport company, we have the unique opportunity to be much more flexible and accommodating to our liquid food grade customers than our non-asset based competitors.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 2 locations. In this business, more locations doesn't mean more business and bigger doesn't mean better. While we're always on the look out for exceptional talent to bring aboard, we're small and plan to remain small for a reason.
What type of payments do you accept?
Our Preferred Customers enjoy Net 15 Payment Terms with every shipment & convenient ACH payment option. For those customers without approved credit terms, we accept payment by check, cash, credit card.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
While our President, Jeffrey Cyphers, owns Livesey All Freight Systems, Inc., daily operations are orchestrated, directed, and overseen by Ken Chambers, our Director of Supply Chain Management.
