How long have you been in business?
Missoula Aging Services was established in 1982.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide programs and services which support older adults, their families and caregivers. Information and assistance about financial concerns, housing options, transportation, advance care planning and more; referrals to services; nutrition programs including Meals on Wheels; respite care and homemaking services; assistance with Medicare and Medicaid issues and enrollment; volunteer opportunities to engage older adults in the community and help stay active; ombudsman services and much more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
CEO Susan Kohler has been with Missoula Aging Services more than 30 years. She holds a degree in Gerontology from Kent State University, OH, and has been active in organizations which advocate for older adults at the local, statewide and national level.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Because Missoula Aging Services offers such a wide variety of programs, services, resources and expertise for older adults and their families, we are able to streamlline the experience of connecting clients with what they need. We are the "one stop" for all matters related to aging.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located at 337 Stephens Ave., and have partners in programs throughout the county, such as congregate dining in Seeley Lake, Condon and Lolo. In late 2016 we opened a satellite office in Seeley Lake to serve older adults in the Seeley-Swan valley communities.

We are located on Mountain Line Bus Route 7 at 337 Stephens Ave., just southwest of the intersection of Orange St. and S. 6th St. W. Our office is at the corner of Florence St. and Stephens, with parking along Florence and also in back of the building. We are one block northeast of the intersection of Beckwith St. and Stephens.
