We specialize in new and used bargain books, with an emphasis on Montana authors and subjects.
We are a locally owned family bookstore and coffee shop that's been serving Western Montana since 1979. Customers can spend hours browsing over 150,000 top-quality new, used and collectible fiction & non-fiction books, as well as comic book titles and audiobooks for readers of all ages. Our specialties are bargain priced new and used books with an emphasis on regional interest, kids' and young adult titles, sci-fi/fantasy, mystery/action, general fiction and literature; we have a wide selection of non-fiction books and sidelines as well! We feature a cafe in the front corner with picture windows on all sides and a vast panoramic view of the Rockies. Soups and sandwiches are offered as well as the coffees and teas on hand. There is something for everyone to enjoy at The Book Exchange, voted the best used or new bookstore in Missoula for the last twenty-eight straight years!
